*Drums beating in background* No longer is the man-without-child named Andrew Keniston a man-without-child! He is now a man-with-child; he is now a father.
He is no longer Keno.
Seven suns have risen and set since Andrew's new son Joaquin was born to inherit the glory - the glory of Keno. But many more suns will yet pass before he is mature enough to be so-called.
The date on which Andrew became Keno was not recorded. There were no scribes present to scribble its gold; its mystery is lost in the unwritten annals of Sunset Park history, though some scholars speculate that he was crowned in the mud and snow of an obscure park or in the grassy air of the outfield of Sunset Park's community baseball park, but they don't really know, and can never know.
How will little Joaquin find his way down the tough, yet rewarding road to Keno? Such a journey is always unwritten, unspoken, personal. It rides on the wings of chance just as much as it rides on the wings of the stork. One thing is for certain, though: Keno will be again... but what is not certain is also certain: With what voice will he speak?

Congrats to Keno
Jamie says Hwah-keen (Joaquin)is cute.
Jamie said all babies are beautiful and pure when I told her I think some babies are ugly (Joaquin is not an ugly baby, of course. He's cute in an Andy sort of way. :) I just wanted to see what Jamie would say when I claimed said there are ugly babies).
Those who like it..
