On May 5th Koreans celebrated Buddha's birthday with family gatherings lit by lantern. Procrastinating in the spirit of the moment, Jamie and I visited 직지사 (J-ee-k J-ee S-ah; Jeek Jee Sah) a week later to enjoy South Korea's most famous Buddhist temple. We were impressed.
