He lost me when he stated that the Clayton act stopped employees from peacefully gathering in larger groups outside their place of employment.
The purchasing power parity of China is horrible, and China has been a unionless capitalist state for 20 years.
This guy is not talking about cause-and-effect on wages. He is rambling on and on about rights.

Yea. Rights are not important.
Yup, that's right, when you are discuss the effects of the labor movement on wages, yup, "rights" are irrelevant.
I'm not sure his thesis was in regard to the labor movement's affect on wages...
Sure it is. He made those very statements at the beginning of his speech: Labor unions have not affected wages.
Unfortunately, he didn't back up his argument with any facts and segued into an irrelevant topic.
