You don't seem to understand. They are the one who will defend THEIR right to protest, but be completely silent when others protest something they agree with. The G20 protests are about protesting globalism. There are NO teabagheads there at all, and hence no complaints about the security perimeter. Instead, they ramble on and on about border searches for illegal aliens on the Mexican border as if that amounts to fascism. Nope. G20 perimeters around closed-door governmental meetings = march toward fascism. Are teabagheads complaining about it, using it as an example? I think not.

Those "examples" are justified based on arguments. The G20 summit limitations are not. They are simply violations of the right to free assembly and demonstration.
How is this any worse than the RNC shutting down the entire downtown of Minneapolis and the DNC doing the same in Denver? Protestors were forced into "free-speech zones" in the middle of nowhere, and many protesters were arrested.

Political conventions are different than official meetings by ruling government officials. I have no problem with the conventions booting people and wish the DNC would boot the bluedogs.
