Ron Paul Acting Like a Libertarian, Almost

Ron Paul expresses some pretty educated views on the nature of homosexuality in this interview and denies that a literal interpretation of the bible is required to be a Christian. Kudos. The only problem I see is his compromise position on gays in the military, even though he was quick to say, quite pleasantly, that he thinks there is no problem with moral gays serving in the military.

In this interview he shows that while he thinks it was fraud, that he knows that it was just a joke, even though he doesn't agree that the content is beneficial to society.

It is rumored that Ron Paul called Bruno a "queer". One of Bruno's assistants said he said it three times. I don't think this is beyond reason, but if one takes into account Ron Paul's comment on homosexuality in the interview above, it is pretty unlikely.

Interesting you bothered to put a post about Paul that doesn't depict him as a bigot.

Finally found an audio quote by him that confirms his position. This realization does not in any way eliminate the fact that his view about abortion contradicts his libertarian philosophy.

Also, they way he tried to make nice with the bigot, homophobic commentator he is talking with just confirms my argument that he is complicit in all of the Republican blunders.
