Roasted Salt.
ㄱ = g
ㅜ = oo
ㅇ = when the ㅇ is on the top it is silent
ㅜ = oo
ㄴ = n
ㅅ = s
ㅗ = oe
ㄱ = g
ㅡ = eu
ㅁ = m
So, said outloud it reads: goo-oon soe-geum.
The first word, goo-oon, means "roasted", while the second word, soe-geum, means "salt". I don't know whether salt in Canada is roasted to 800 celcius, but this salt has been. They claim, in Korean of course, that the poisons and organic impurities that make salt taste slightly bitter are completely eliminated by this process.
As Chris' tongue always says: It's true! The salt has no bitter taste and still tastes very salty!
